Fred Snoek - Piano Concert
Fred Snoek - Piano Concert
Fred Snoek was born in Holland, where he began his piano studies at the age of eight. At the age of twelve, he won first prize in a competition organised by Dutch radio, which led to him being invited to play on various radio stations in his country. He continued his studies with the teacher Herman UHLHORN at the Arnhem Conservatory.
After obtaining his virtuosity diploma, he completed his training in Geneva with Louis HILTBRAND and at the same time took interpretation classes with Nikita MAGALOFF. Fred SNOEK has since been heard in a number of European countries, including France - where he lives - Germany, Holland and Switzerland.
Across the Atlantic, he has played in New York and San Francisco. Fred SNOEK's interpretations have been recorded with works by PROKOFIEV, BEETHOVEN, SCHUBERT and LISZT.
Fred SNOEK is one of the rare pianists to carry his instrument himself, which enables him to perform in unusual places.
