Anzère Climbing Festival - Climb to the top
Discover the 3rd edition of the Anzère Climbing Festival, taking place on 11 and 12 July 2026. An event dedicated to the world of climbing, designed to bring together climbing enthusiasts and those simply curious about the sport in an exceptional setting, at the heart of the Valais limestone landscape.
The festival aims to promote the sport of climbing whilst encouraging people to meet, chat and share experiences. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber, you’ll find a friendly and festive atmosphere for a weekend full of discoveries.
On the programme: supervised workshops and courses, film screenings and talks led by guides and experienced climbers. Courses suitable for all levels are available upon registration — feel free to choose the one that best suits your interests. The rest of the programme is free to attend and open to everyone.
Lead climbing
You've never really climbed a cliff face before and you'd like to take the plunge?
Supervised by professionals, you can practise in a safe environment. The routes in the Arbaz sector are ideal for learning to lead climb.
- Learn the basics of lead climbing, how to set up a rope, etc.
- (Re)discover rock climbing
- Stress management
- Learn the basics of movement
- And above all, meet other people with whom you can practise climbing.
