26.07 - Anzère Climbing Festival - Introduction to climbing for adults
Discover the second edition of the Anzère Climbing Festival, to be held on 26 and 27 July 2025. A unique event in Switzerland, it aims to promote climbing, bring climbing enthusiasts together to share their experiences and spend a great weekend on the limestone of the Valais. By bringing together climbing enthusiasts and the curious, we aim to offer a participatory and enriching experience for all participants. Workshops and courses, film screenings and talks by guides and climbers will be organised throughout the weekend. So don't hesitate to sign up for the courses that suit your level and interests on Saturday. The rest of the programme is open to all without registration.
Introduction to climbing for adults
Come and discover and learn the basics of climbing in complete safety in a magnificent natural setting. The 2-hour workshop focuses on the following points:
- safety
- use of equipment
- basic techniques and knots
- belaying in a top-rope
- discover cliff climbing
